It is with heavy hearts the family of Ann Janet Kuntz wish to announce her passing on May 26th, 2022, at the age of 83. Ann was born in Cranbrook, BC to John and Mary Lancaster. She grew up on a dairy farm with her 5 siblings. One of her fondest memories was driving the delivery truck while delivering milk with her dad as a young girl.
Ann met and married her husband Ken Kuntz in Cranbrook on April 4th, 1959. They had 62 years together. Their marriage was one that a person always hopes for in their lives. They had two children Mark and Jan.
Ann worked as a dental assistant, a care aid at Green Memorial Home in Cranbrook as well as helping Ken run their ranch. She was an avid volunteer for many different organizations throughout her life. She enjoyed curling, softball and cards.
Ann and Ken had many adventures traveling through the years through the States, Canada and Alaska. Her favorite trip was traveling across Canada and Alaska. It was after this trip that Ken and Ann moved to Quesnel to be closer to their daughter Jan.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Ken, parents and three siblings.
Ann is survived by children Mark (Rhonda) Kuntz Scarbough, Ont, Jan (Loreana) Payne-Kuntz Quesnel, BC; Grandchild Jessica, Sammi-Jo, Erickson and Clayton with 11 great grandchildren. Brothers Johnny (Lylla) Lancaster, Dick (Linda) Lancaster and brother in-law Vern (Linda) Kuntz.
Along with several nieces and nephews who she was a god mother to several of them.
There will be a grave site service in Cranbrook announced at a future date.
