Ann of Victoria BC, passed away on January 23, 2017. Born in Cranbrook on April 8, 1948, daughter of Henry & Helen Nelson and sibling to Bud & Jay. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Brian, daughters Rebecca (Andrew) and Kathryn (Jason), niece Sherry, & grandson Sawyer. She moved to Victoria to complete a Bachelors in Education at UVic. She loved returning to The Lake each summer. She loved animals, sharing her home with many over the years (the Zoo), especially her pack of Scottish and Jack Russell Terriers. She was the greatest Nana to Sawyer who was the light of her life. A Celebration of Life open house will be held Sat, February 4, 2017 from 1-5pm at 2555 Shakespeare St in Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke or animal rescues.
