Alan Lamb of Qualicum Beach (formally Cranbrook), British Columbia, passed away on August 7th, 2020 at the age of 94.
Our Dad lived a full life of adventure and fun. Nothing ever held him back.
Arthritis and Diabetes were no match for my Dad's stubbornness, determination and the will to live life to it's fullest.
After deciding to give up his life on the farm and pass the company reigns over to Dave, John and Phil, Dad and Mom decided to retire in Qualicum Beach. He always had a special love for the Ocean and spent many years exploring on his new boat!
Three hip replacements and an ankle replacement barely slowed my Dad down!!! We were always amazed with his 80 km bike rides and crazy travelling escapades. We love the stories of his wonderful adventures all over the world with Mom!
We will always be thankful for passing on to us the spirit to live life to the fullest!
Alan is survived by his most loving wife of 65 years, Kathleen and five children Rose (Don) Kerr, Dave (Sam) Lamb, John Lamb, Phil Lamb and Alison (Scott) Donaldson; grandchildren Mel, Steph, Taurin, Shannon, Kelly and Kristy; great-grandchildren Leo, Conrad, Ollie, Malcolm and Winston.
