The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors is considering an application by Ryan and Kate Bessant to amend the zoning designations of their property to permit a two-lot subdivision. The property is located at 3224 Porto Rico Road in the Moyie area as shown on the attached map.
Bylaw No. 3229 cited as“Regional District of East Kootenay – Electoral Area C South Zoning & Floodplain Management Bylaw No. 2913, 2019 – Amendment Bylaw No. 21, 2023 (Moyie / Bessant)”will amend the zone designation of Lot 1, District Lot 3544, Kootenay District, Plan NEP19726 from RR-2, Rural Residential (Small Holding) Zone to RR-1, Rural Residential (Estate) Zone.
A public hearing will be held at: Moyie Community Hall 9322 Tavistock Street, Moyie BC, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 7:00 pm
The Board has delegated the holding of this hearing to the Directors for Electoral Area C and the City of Cranbrook. If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the proposed Bylaw, you may prior to the hearing:
- Inspect the Bylaw and supporting information at the RDEK office in Cranbrook from June 9, 2023 to June 27, 2023 or by requesting that an information package be emailed to you by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
- Mail or email written submissions to the addresses shown below before Friday, June 23, 2023; or
- Present verbal submissions at the public hearing.
