Woman gets two years for driving through window

A woman who crashed her car into a house on Archibald Street in June of 2014 has been sentenced to two years.

A woman who crashed her car into a house on Archibald Street in June of 2014 has been sentenced to two years.

Stacey Lundin, who was 19 at the time, crashed through the window of the house in the early hours of the morning of June 16.

Kimberley RCMP Cpl. Chris Newel said at the time that the driver failed to negotiate the corner on Archibald and crashed through the window causing extensive damage to the house. The occupants of the home were not seriously injured.

An impaired driving investigation was initiated and the woman provided two breath samples of 130 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml blood.
