Two in custody after drive-by shooting in Kimberley

RCMP report that shots were fired at a Kimberley residence from a shotgun. Several firearms related charges are pending,

RCMP have two in custody after a drive-by shooting that occurred on Archibald Street in Kimberley on the late evening of April 4.

A report of shot fired at a residence was received around 11 p.m., April 4. A vague vehicle description was obtained; extensive patrols were conducted without success.

Two hours later, at approximately 1 a.m., April 5, a second report was received from the same address. Officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested two males.

Several firearms related charges are pending.Two shots were fired at the residence from a shotgun. The investigation is ongoing,

General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification and Police Dog Services are assisting the Kimberley RCMP.
