The provincial election has begun and so to will the chance to see local candidates battle out the issues in public forums.
On May 1, there will be not one, but two provincial all-candidates forums.
The first one, at 11:45 a.m., is being hosted by the Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce at the Heritage Inn. The forum will is geared towards members of the business community and costs $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.

Later that night, JCI Kootenay will be hosting the Provincial Election All-Candidates Forum at the College of the Rockies. The forum is open to the general public and starts at 7 p.m. More details will be available in coming days.
