A police service dog and handler were on site but unable to locate an suspicious individuals or fresh foot tracks in the area.

It is the second incident of a suspicious person reported to the RCMP within a few days.

On Tuesday, March 7th, RCMP reported a seven-year-old student was grabbed by an adult male on Tuesday, March 7th while walking behind the 1900 block of 12th St. S

The man is described as possibly in his 40s, five-foot-eight to six feet tall, Caucasian with short brown hair, wearing jeans, T-shirt and runners.

The student said she was able to get away from the man and ran home, where a parent contacted police. That incident remains under investigation.
