Cranbrook and Kimberley RCMP have noticed an increase in construction site thefts over the past couple of weeks. These thefts appear to include building materials and supplies, equipment and high end tools.
RCMP is strongly encouraging builders and businesses with active construction projects and sites to take every effort possible to ensure the security of their supplies and equipment.
Residents nearby construction sites are also encouraged to call if suspicious activity is observed.
