A man was discovered dead inside a vehicle outside the RCMP detachment building on 11th Ave in Cranbrook on Wednesday morning.

A concerned citizen notified staff inside the RCMP detachment that a male was deceased inside a vehicle at 11:15 a.m.

Traffic was blocked off and the RCMP conducted an investigation, locating a the body of a 60 year old male in the front seat of the vehicle.

Foul play is not suspected and the Cranbrook RCMP and Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate.
