RCMP investigate multi-vehicle collision east of Cranbrook

East Kootenay Traffic Services and the Elk Valley Detachment RCMP are investigating a multi-vehicle collision on Hwy 3/93 near Galloway, 60 kilometres east of Cranbrook.

East Kootenay Traffic Services and the Elk Valley Detachment RCMP are investigating a multi-vehicle collision on Hwy 3/93 near Galloway, 60 kilometres east of Cranbrook.

The collision occurred on May 30 at 5:30 p.m., in a highway construction zone. The collision involved a commerical vehicle and four private vehicles. Four persons were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries ranging from

serious to critical in nature. The highway was closed for approximately seven hours as police investigated. RCMP said in a press release that more information will be provided later Wednesday.
