A group of four retired or striking teachers have spent this week visiting every picket line in Cranbrook to boost spirits during the second week of a full-scale strike. With money from their own pockets, they served a cooked breakfast of ham, eggs and pancakes prepared on a barbecue on the back of a bobcat to grateful teachers, before serenading them with an original song about the job action.
