To increase the safety of visitors to Idlewild, the City is installing a permanent chain link fence on the down slope side of the dam beginning on Wednesday December 5th.
While the installation is done, there will be some areas of the paved trail on either side of the dam that will be temporarily inaccessible to the public.
The City appreciates the patience and understanding of park users while this project is completed.
