Dorian Sawatzky has been found dead near Invermere. Currently, the death is not believed to be suspicious, reported Columbia Valley RCMP Tuesday evening.

The Columbia Valley RCMP and BC Coroners Service are continuing their investigations into the matter.

The Columbia Valley RCMP would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone that assisted the RCMP in searching for Mr. Sawatzky.

Mr. Sawatsky was last seen on September 20th in the Black Forest area of Invermere. RCMP, family, and friends were actively searching for him since he went missing and family described his disappearance as “uncharacteristic.”
