Locals turned out Saturday for a march to demand action on climate change from elected leaders in Cranbrook, joining 675,000 others around the world. The march, organized ahead of the UN Climate Summit in New York City this week, saw hundreds of thousands in NYC joined by hundreds of thousands in more than 160 countries around the world. In Cranbrook, the event organised by Wildsight saw locals spanning eight decades in age marching through downtown and to MP David Wilks office to demand that the Canadian government commit to real action on climate change immediately.
