Hickling trial adjourned to June

The trial involving a Fernie man accused of possessing child pornography has been rescheduled for June 11, 2019.

The trial involving a Fernie man accused of possessing child pornography has been rescheduled for June 11, 2019.

Colin Derek Hickling has been charged with one count of possessing child pornography and two counts of importing or distributing child pornography.

The offences allegedly took place on February 22, 2016.

According to the BC Prosecution Service, eight days have been set aside to conclude the trial. They further explained the trial had been scheduled for January 22. No further information was provided other than that it was recently adjourned to a later date. A request for further information has been made.
