The goats of Rocky Ridge Vegetation Control are back to battle invasive weeds in the area

The helpful herd is back — the goats of Rocky Ridge Vegetation Control, out of Kamloops,  are afoot in the East Kootenay this month, continuing the fight against invasive weeds by lunching down on sulphur cinquefoil and knapweed. The herd, run by Conrad Lindblom with help from Natasha Murphy, are working on ?aq’am (St. Mary’s Band) lands for the second season in a row. Also pictured is ‘Chewbacka,’ born June 3.
