There are less than two weeks left for interested non-profit organizations to apply for a funding program for non-profits across the Kootenay region.
The Columbia Basin Trust’s Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs, which is administered by the Regional District of East Kootenay, are intended to be flexible and incorporate community-based funding decisions.
“We recognize the tremendous impact these programs make on so many local projects and programs and want to ensure potential applicants are aware of the guidelines and submission deadline,” said RDEK Corporate Officer Shannon Moskal. “The Programs are open to registered non-profit organizations. Any private sector proposals must be sponsored by a registered non-profit organization and must clearly demonstrate community benefits. All applications must be submitted prior to the deadline as late applications cannot be accepted.”
Application forms and proposal guidelines are available at the RDEK’s Cranbrook and Columbia Valley offices and on its website. The application deadline is Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
