A Cranbrook daycare facility has been vandalized two nights in a row.
According to an RCMP statement, the Kids on Campus Daycare beside the College of the Rockies was first vandalized overnight on Sunday, March 3.
Unknown vandals threw a log and a crowbar through the windows of the daycare's administration office.
Then, overnight on Monday, March 4, vandals threw liquor bottles, rocks and beverage containers through the remaining unbroken windows that front the parking lot.
"This is a horrible act of vandalism affecting young children. The broken glass from the windows has landed in the beds where the children take their naps, putting them at risk," said Cpl. Chris Newel of Cranbrook/Kimberley RCMP.
