The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Stacey Brensrud as the new Executive Director.
Brensrud has been serving as the Interim Executive Director since July 2024, and brings with her previous experience as the Executive Director of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce.
“Stacey has navigated some big undertakings for our Chamber over the past four months, and has demonstrated the leadership qualities that will greatly benefit our members and community as the Executive Director for Cranbrook’s Chamber," said Keri Sanderman, Cranbrook Chamber President.
"The Board of Directors is looking forward to continuing their work with her as we look to the future of making a difference for our business community.”
Brensrud brings a diverse background in small business, governance, advocacy and non-profit societies to her role with the Cranbrook Chamber.
“During my time in Cranbrook as the Interim Executive Director, I have observed a keen passion for this community from business owners, local government and volunteers," Brensrud said. "People really care about Cranbrook, and I see many opportunities for impactful work through the Chamber. I am looking forward to working with the Board of Directors as a team, always looking through the lens of what’s best for business in Cranbrook.
"I’m grateful for this opportunity to make a difference for our members, and I’m eager to connect with the membership as I forge ahead into this role.”
