On September 16th 2016, Cranbrook CO's responded to a complaint of a dead deer in a residential area.
CO's investigated the complaint and determined the buck was illegally killed by a crossbow at night, from a vehicle and in a closed area.
CO's were able to identify two male suspects and charges are now pending. Poaching and other environmental violations can be reported 24/7 to the COS hotline - 1-877-952-RAPP (7277).
