Cranbrook Bucks defenceman Bryce Sookro is an All-Star.

The team captain has been tapped as The Herd's representative at the BCHL 2025 All-Star Tournament and Skills Competition in Salmon Arm on Jan. 18, 2025.

Sookro is a point-a-game player for the Bucks, leading the team with 6 goals and 19 assists for 25 points in 20 games. A Nelson product, Sookro is in his final year of BCHL eligibility and is committed to college hockey next year with the Clarkson University Golden Knights based out of Potsdam, New York.

The All-Star selections were mostly filled out after a vote was conducted with coaches and general managers from the 21 BCHL teams in both conferences. However, three All-Star selections remain open to any BCHL player that will be decided by a fan vote.

The top three players that receive the most votes, regardless of their conferences, will receive those final spots.

Once decided, four rosters will be formed each comprising of six skaters and one goaltender to participate in a 3-on-3 tournament.
