A birthday party was hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24 Cranbrook, for one of Cranbrook’s more noted Aquarians. Bud Abbott’s birthday actually falls on January 26, but the Legion chose today, “Seniors Day” — third Wednesday of the month — to mark the occasion and to honour Bud’s labour of love of leading the Seniors sing-a-long.
