Charities, non-profits will ‘fuel’ good thanks to Armstrong cooperative

Applications now being taken online from area charities, non-profits, for Armstrong Co-op fundraiser

Armstrong Regional Co-op will hold its annual Fuel Good Day fundraiser for registered charities and non-profits in the Vernon, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and Cranbrook regions Tuesday, Sept. 17. Registered charities and non-profits in the North Okanagan and East Kootenays can benefit from a full tank of gas.

Armstrong Regional Co-op will hold its annual Fuel Good Day on Tuesday, Sept. 17, where 10 cents of every litre of fuel sold at all Armstrong Regional Co-op gas gars will be donated to local registered non-profit organizations and charities.

“Each market with an Armstrong Co-op gas bar will be selecting and supporting one local non-profit or charity,” said Co-op marketing and community relations manager Jason Keis.

Registered non-profits and charities that are located within the local trading area of the Armstrong Regional Co-op are invited to apply to be a recipient of funding from Fuel Good Day 2024.

Apply online at www.armstrong.coop by Friday, June 7.

“Throughout Fuel Good Day, each of our selected non-profits and charities are enclouraged be on site to hand out information packages and answer questions about their organization,” said Keis. “There will also be draws and giveaways.”

Participating Co-op gas bar locations:

• 3550 Okanagan Street, Armstrong;

• 3100 10th Avenue NE, Salmon Arm;

• 50 Trans Canada Highway SW, Salmon Arm;

• 3530 27th St., Vernon;

• 3401 32nd St., Vernon;

• 1216 Cranbrook St. N, Cranbrook.
