Crews were at work Friday morning, March 21, taking down the power lines around the former Kootenay Springs building on 6th Avenue NW, and then taking down the building itself. 6th Avenue was closed Friday for final preparations for the demolition of the old building, a former water bottling plant and brewery even before, which had fallen into decrepitude. The whole building was shaking as the south walls were demolished Friday after. More demolition scheduled for the coming week. (David Humphrey photo)
