Castlegar: New 54-unit housing development nears completion

According to the Castlegar Podium FB page, “Completion is nearing on fifty-four units of rental housing at Castlegar's Park Place. Nexus Development Group will be making display suites available for viewing over the next month.”

The 54-unit project is located at 2005 Columbia Avenue, and was first announced in early 2022 with construction beginning later in the year. It is expected to be complete by early 2025.

Nexus Development owner Daryl Martini, who grew up in Trail, says he wants to create a vibrancy and energy around the building that will see people coming and going from the businesses, people coming to and from the park and the people that live there all intersecting at this new crossroads.

Unit viewing will take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through October 27th.
