Hugs: To Vern from Home Depot for great service buying a window fan. He went out of his way and over his job requirements to make sure I found what I was looking for and all done with a smile. Thank you Vern!
Hugs: To Elevate your Landscape lawn services. Your integrity and honest billing practices are appreciated and I believe your company will be rewarded for operating with honesty and respect for your clients. Best wishes and Thank you!
Slugs: To the borrowers and keepers of other people's stuff. Kindness is to be repaid not taken for granted or ripped off. Shame on you!
Hugs: To the manager Kim and assistant manager Shauneen of Fabricland. Thank you both for helping me get the best curtains for my home!
Slugs: To the lady in the black SUV at the music in the park July 25. I could hear you screaming in your car at the lady in front of you who was looking for a parking space from the sidewalk. Be patient — first off, it’s a park zone, and secondly, it was congested. I saw her finger you, you could have made a better choice and moved along, but no, you had to prove some kind of point and reverse back to her and continue to berate her. The only point that I saw was a raging mother who used a plethora of profanities, including the ‘R’ word in front of their young son who was in the back seat. Shame on you!
Slugs: To the group of adult women making fun of children’s names within earshot at Rotary Park during the Summer Sounds. The kids, and their parents who chose their names carefully with meaning, can hear you making fun of them. That’s not right making children feel that way, please stop.
Hugs: Thank you to all the people who made the KRATV Club Poker Run another successful event: Black Sheep Camp Kootenay River for the invite and support, Columbia Search & Rescue, MP Rob Morrison’s Office & MLA Doug Clovechok, all the volunteers’ helping hands, player participants, and sponsors – All Seasons Motorsports, Banners, Black Sheep Camp, Duthie’s Propane, Ghost Riders Marysville, Grapes ‘n Suds, Inland Kenworth, Integra Tire, MLA Clovechok, Mulisha Small Engine Repair, Cranbrook Superstore. KRATV Club appreciates everyone’s support – THANK YOU!
Slugs: To the City of Cranbrook for not repairing the Gold Creek Dam. It has been six years since this dam needed repairs waiting for permits and grants. Cranbrook is now a Desert City.
