Hugs: Many thanks to Angel Flight for making my trip to Kelowna go so smoothly after my heart attack. What a wonderful service this group does for the people of the East Kootenay.

Slugs: In regards to 14th Ave / 2nd Street North. Well what a mess. They hardly needed to make 1/3 of the total lane for school bus parking considering how much is used for this function on a weekly basis. Now you need a smart car to fit into the south bound lane and a good portion of the northbound is dedicated to buses which are seldom there. Can't imagine what this will look like when we have snow and ice on the road where the makings will not show up. If you live on the west side of the road and own a truck or a bigger car, good luck fitting into your space. Maybe it was intended as a bike lane and not for parking. I drive a small car and when I was driving southbound my driver side was well over the yellow line trying to avoid parked cars / trucks. The 4-way stop was an excellent idea, too bad they screwed it up with the lane markings.

Hugs: Big shout out to Dan and Jude at Riteway RV for taking the time and having the patience to explain how to properly set up my Trickle Charger for storing my RV batteries. Cable worked great too.  Thanks again for your help.

Hugs: To David Wilks for his passionate pleas to get radiation treatment in Cranbrook so we don't all have to travel to Kelowna for this life-saving procedure.

Slugs: Surely the City has some means where they can force residents/owners/renters to maintain their property in some semblance of order. When people allow their property to decline into a garbage pit and hang disgusting signs on the fence then something has to be done!

Hugs: Huge thanks to the manager and staff at Mister Tire for repairing a tire that has repeatedly gone flat. Despite being incredibly busy with the great tire changeover, you took the time to fix the tire and rim. This was appreciated more than you could know, and has given me considerable peace of mind. Thank you.

Hugs: To Nathan Lieuwen for your kindness in refunding my seasons tickets. Unfortunately, due to significant health issues, I cannot go to the games anymore. Nathan took into consideration my years of support as a season ticket holder while the Kootenay Ice were here and now the Cranbrook Bucks. I truly appreciate this gesture. I am still able to view all the Cranbrook Bucks games online so I can still say GO BUCKS GO!!
