The highly anticipated event was a great success

Sam Steele Days returned to Cranbrook this past weekend, with events happening across town from June 16 to 19.

From bocce and live bands to the annual Strongman Classic and the beloved parade, everyone was excited to see this event return in-person after a two-year hiatus.

Last year the event was held digitally, while the year prior it was cancelled because of the pandemic.

All of the events returned in full force this year, including pancake breakfasts and barbecues, soccer and baseball tournaments and more.

More information to follow on the winners of the tournaments as well as the results from the Sweetheart Youth Ambassador pageant.
