B.C.’s own Dean Brody rounds up Vernon, Cranbrook, Trail shows

Country star ready to Bring Down the House on cross-Canada tour

Multi-platinum, iconic Canadian country artist Dean Brody is celebrating the biggest years of his career with a cross Canada tour this fall.

The tour will be stopping in the Interior of B.C. with shows in Vernon, Trail and Cranbrook in October.

No country artist has owned the live stage more than Brody in recent years with three National Arena tours (two of which broke National sales records) and he is the only Canadian country artist to hold a seven-year residency at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.

Not one to ever slow down, Brody has been busy selling records and marking major career milestones.

The acclaimed artist landed his sixth and seventh No. 1’s on Canadian Country radio on back to back duets with his history making track Boys, featuring Mickey Guyton, and More Drinkin’ than Fishin’ with Jade Eagleson.

He also secured his 18th CCMA Award, landing the Top Canadian Single with his No. 1 track featuring the Reklaws on Can’t Help Myself.

Brody kicked off 2022 by earning a Juno nomination for Country Album of the year and securing his first Triple Platinum single Bring down the House, making him only the second artist in Canadian history to ever achieve this status.

He also landed his 8th No. 1 with Where’d You Learn How to do That.

A passionate storyteller and unmatched lyricist, Brody has risen and continues to remain at the very top of the country music landscape with an impressive 34 Top 10 Singles, 18 CCMA awards, two Juno’s, more than 425 million global streams and numerous gold and platinum singles.

Only Shania Twain has more Canadian streams than Brody when looking at Canadian Country artists “lifetime“ results.

In April of 2023 Dean released his latest single Broke which celebrates the hard working blue collar Canadian. Broke is an upbeat track honouring the people of the area he grew up in and his days working at the Mill in Galloway near Jaffray, B.C.

Brody also dedicates a large part of his life to philanthropic efforts through his charity, the Dean Brody Foundation.

Brody’s Right Round Here tour will be at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre on Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 2 at ticketseller.ca or by calling 250-549-7469 or at the box office.

The tour plays the Charles Bailey Theatre in Trail on Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale June 2 at the Bailey box office, by phone at 250-368-9669 or online at the Bailey.ca.

On Oct. 19, Cranbrook’s Key City theatre will host the tour. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday at the box office, by phone at 250-426-7006 or on line at keycitytheatre.com.

Tour presented by the Kootenay Concert Connection.
