It’s fawning season in the Cranbrook area, so be alert, especially when out walking your dogs.

This deer with three fawns under escort was photographed in a Cranbrook backyard near Joseph Creek, alongside Rotary Way and not far from the Mt. Baker RV Park. That neighbourhood has a high preponderance of deer with fawns.
