Members of the East Kootenay Shrine Club invited East Kootenay Foundation for Health's Donna Grainger to tour the Shriners Hospitals for Children Care Canada bus.
The bus travels through the East Kootenay to take children to the Spokane Shriners' or BC Children's Hospitals.
While on site, the regional Shrine Club gave EKFH a donation of $3,500 to help purchase a pediatric vital signs monitor for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
This and many other generous donations has resulted in the Shriners donating more than $22,000 to health care through the foundation.
