Mount Baker Secondary School held its annual Awards Night, Tuesday, May 28, at the Key City Theatre in Cranbrook.
More than 80 scholarships, bursaries and awards were presented to deserving students. The evening was started with the Mount Baker Vocal Jazz Group singing O Canada.
Dave Hill, Christie Johnson and Sean Sinclair served as announcers.
Award winner Gavin Kerr (Southeast Kootenay Principals and Vice-Principals scholarship) was unable to attend.
An honorable mention to the Scholastic Distinction Entrance Scholarship from the College of the Rockies is going to Tjaart Van Der Walt.
