Students at Laurie Middle School have the opportunity for a hands on learning experience through the school's home economics program. LMS offers Foods & Nutrition and it is the only school in Cranbrook to have an extensive sewing program. Under the guidiance and organization of Mrs. Pepper, Laurie's home economics program is extremely important because it integrates skills and knowledge that students can apply to authentic work and home stituations.
