On Wednesday, March 16, Jason de Rijk of Sidekick Stickers presented Denise Stewart, Co-ordinator with the Cranbrook Women's Resource Centre, with a donation of $3,500, funds raised from the sale of Pink T-Shirts for the recent Anti-Bullying Day, Feb. 24.

This is the fourth year Sidekick Stickers has produced the T-shirts — 559 for 2016 — and they are worn all over the community by all members of the community.

The Women's Centre works to improve the status of women and their families through direct service provision and by advocating for social and systemic change. The Centre provides advocacy, lay counselling, information and referrals.

Donations like Sidekick's are hugely important to the Centre, Stewart said, and much appreciated. For more information on the Cranbrook Women's Resource Centre, call 250-421-8096. For more information on Sidekick Stickers, call 250 919-3807
