For the 31st edition of its Evening of Excellence, the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce switched seasons and venues — to the fall, and to the stage of the Key City Theatre.

The Chamber’s annual business awards showcase took place Friday, Oct. 27, at the Key City Theatre in Cranbrook, celebrating the best, the new and the notable in the local business community. Fourteen awards were presented in numerous categories, with several nominees in each category. The nominees had earlier submitted an online questionnaire, which was then reviewed by a committee of 20 appointed volunteer adjudicators, and measured against other nominees.

Jason Wheeldon and Kaytee Sharun served as Masters of Ceremony for the event.
