Hugs: For Christmas, the best day of the year!

Hugs: To Dr. Louw and staff also to the nurses in the ambulatory clinic that all took care of me during my cataract surgery. Thanks for the great care.

Hugs: To McPherson Funeral Service for the wonderful job they do in helping people through probably one of the toughest times of their lives. Also, much appreciation for the amazing Service of Remembrance and for giving people the option of a viewing virtually.

Hugs: To Pat Simpson, Heather White and the Regina family for the donation of time, resources and energy to create many, many wonderful hand crocheted stuffies. The little people at AWES will have a brighter Christmas because of your kindness!

Hugs: A very Huge hug to my neighbours at Jim Smith Lake who have helped me tremendously since my husband passed close to seven years ago. These wonderful and generous people have helped with driving me, plowing my driveway and shovelling deck and sidewalk throughout the winter, checking on me periodically to make sure I’m OK, fixing minor issues around my house, and letting me babble on at different times. I really appreciate them for all they do for me.

Hugs: To Parkland school for a great fundraiser. I received the freshest and healthiest poinsettia I have ever bought and am very pleased with the quality and the great idea for fund raising. God bless whoever thought this idea up and God bless the kids that went door to door for their school. Merry Christmas and the best of the New Year.

Hugs: To residents that shovel the sidewalk in front of their home.

Slugs: To residents that don’t shovel the walk in front of their home.

Hugs: To the lady and her three small children manning the Salvation Army kettle at Wal Mart, Sat., Dec. 8. What a nice family gesture. Volunteers are always needed.

Hugs: I want to give the biggest hug there is to give to the couple who paid for my order Dollarama in the Tamarack Mall, I want you to know that I have not ever had that happen, it was a difficult day shopping for me and then I get blessed by the couple who truly know the meaning of Christmas, I hope that their Christmas is joyful and wonderful as they made mine. Thank you, thank you!

Hugs: To the lady who paid for my groceries at Wal Mart on Tuesday, Dec. 12. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
