Hugs: To the city waste collectors. Best workers in the city by far. Courteous & efficient. Thank you for doing your jobs well. I hope your integrity at work spreads to the rest of the city crew and Cranbrook begins a new era.
Slugs: To the people who have let Cranbrook’s urban deer population get out of control. My wife and I have witnessed instances of deer aggressively chasing people while walking their pets. We had to stop walking our dog after being attacked twice. Eventually someone will get hurt protecting their pet.
Hugs: To the young lady that has been delivering the Cranbrook Daily Townsman along 11th St South this winter. I have watched her pull her cart through unshoveled sidewalks and large puddles and in heavy snow and rain, strong winds and cold temperatures. She has reliably delivered the newspaper in my neighbourhood regardless of the weather conditions (and the weather has definitely been crazy this winter) and I am very grateful for her hard work. What a work ethic!
Hugs: To Skylar at Kootenay Best Blinds for the great job he did consulting, measuring & installing our blinds. Everything was perfect. He is very professional, honest & friendly. Will definitely use this company again & highly recommend them.
