Hugs: Huge hugs to Ed at the Bull River Inn for the great firework display New Year’s Eve. Well done and a Happy New Year to Ed and staff

Hugs: To the bonnie piper who gave us the best New Year’s “concert.” (Only a couple of tunes, but beautifully played!) Happy Hogmanay!

Hugs: To the good neighbour that found my car keys at the dog park. Thank you and a big hug for your help!

Hugs: Huge hugs to Williams Moving. From the management to the two burley men that moved us on December 14 out and into our new house on December 15. Through a snow storm!

Hugs: To Barry Seitz for selling our old house and finding our perfect home.

Hugs: Warm hugs to all the staff at the Tamarack Mall lab. I could not believe how busy it was in there when I attended for my appointment. A considerable wait was necessary to accommodate all the patients, but I was eventually well taken care of. While waiting, I observed the staff members being literally run off their feet, I do not know how they keep going. It seems like a thankless, difficult, and relentless job. I was looked after by a lovely young woman, who was unfailingly kind and helpful. Everyone working there deserves a raise, and much appreciation for a difficult job very well done.

Hugs: To the staff at Save-On Foods for offering their help when I experienced a malaise while grocery shopping recently. That went a long way to help me recuperate!

Slugs: To the lady on her bike at the lower parking lot in the community forest on the morning of Jan 8. You watched your dog go to the bathroom then just rode off without picking it up!

Hugs: To the man behind the lady on the bike who did pick up after his dog!
