Harold Tengum

April 5, 1917 - September 27, 2017

It's with great sorrow the family of Harold announces his passing on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 in the Cranbrook Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Battrum, Saskatchewan on April 5th 1917.

He joined the army in 1941 until 1945. He then moved to Cranbrook , B.C. and worked in the lumber industries.

He married and raised four children. His love of his family always came first above all else.

Left to mourn his passing are his four children, Carole Oakley, Sandra (Ed) Todoruk, Cheryll (Brian) Montour and Ray (Debra) Tengum.

Also left to mourn his passing are his grandchildren, Donna (Tim), Todd (Elaine), David, Amy (Randy), Jay, Cassandra, Brandy (Jeff ), Lee

(Karen), Kristian (Julia), Katie (Chris), Shawn, Laura (Brad) and Allan also 16 great-grandchildren.

Harold was predeceased by his infant son (Brian), ex-wife Dorothy, son-in-law Ed and also many family members and friends far too many to list.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Westlawn Cemetery, Cranbrook, B.C. with Guy Roy officiating.

A celebration of Harold's life will be held at 2200 5th Street N. Cranbrook, B.C. at the home of his son Ray and Debra.
