Diana (Diane) Rosa Banman
(Nee Gauthier)
December 18, 1928 – June 11, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Diane Banman
announce that she passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Cranbrook Regional Hospital on June 11, 2017.
Diane was born in Kimberley, BC and lived most of her life in
Meadowbrook, first with her parents, and then later with her
husband Henry whom she married in 1948. Diane loved her
life on the farm and had a special fondness for her horses.
She also spent many hours in her garden.
Diane was predeceased by her husband, Henry Banman in 2006.
In 2008, Diane moved to Cranbrook and has lived
there up to the time of her death.
She is survived by 3 sons; Earl (Patti) Banman, Lloyd (Janet)
Banman, Cliff (Ruth) Banman and one daughter, Esther Walker (Russ). Diane also had 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren,and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 younger sisters and many nieces & nephews.
A memorial service for Diane will be held on
Saturday, June 24 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2200 - 3rd Street South, Cranbrook, BC.
