Brent Hayden and Scott Dickens, two swimmers who have represented Canada at the highest level of sport competition, spent the weekend working with the Triton Swim Club and athletes across the region. Hayden won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympic Summer Games in the 100-metre freestyle and competed with the national swim squad in Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008. Dickens, a breaststroke swimmer, represented Canada in Athens and London, and is a gold medal winner from the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janerio. The two Olympians had four sessions in the water with the young swimmers along with an autograph session and a presentation on what it takes to compete at the highest level. See Sports for more.
