Wild Theatre presents the classic story of love, life, violence and dreams on the wrong side of the tracks, with S.E. Hinton’s classic “The Outsiders” taking a dramatic turn at the Key City Theatre in Cranbrook.

Set in Oklahoma, the play follows the tribulations of the Greasers, a teenage gang at war with the Socs, a rival gang of rich kids. The story is narrated by Ponyboy, the youngest of three brothers living together after the death of their parents.

Ponyboy and his friend Johnny are forced to flee into hiding after a fight ends in the death of a Soc.

Directed by Anna Gris, the cast is comprised of a talented class of Mount Baker actors, featuring T.J. Moulton, Jared Adams and Tace Bradwell, Mordecai Blackmore, Justin Walker, Preston Gramm, Will Thomson, Santana Prestia and Isabella Fiorentino.

“The Outsiders” runs Thursday, April 27, through Saturday, April 29, at the Key City Theatre in Cranbrook. Showtimes are 7 p.m.
